Aren’t they lovely? Probably made into flats now though and cost an absolute King’s ransom! But I do like the columns with the decorative capitals and those sash windows and the railings – so elegant as you say.

They are lovely to look at Jude 🙂 As you say many of the terraced houses are now flats (in fact our daughter is moving into a top floor flat soon in the Maida Vale area, which is a terraced house that’s been converted she’s renting with friends though). Elegant and with so much character – I do like strolling round the London streets 🙂
