Le Chic En Rose

Diaries of an independent traveller

A few of the friendly locals we used to see each night as we drove back from town up the hill to our accomodation in Shadforth .The kangaroos were very tame – obviously must be used to tourists as well as locals passing by!

Seeing kangaroos on lawns, golf clubs and beaches always makes me smile. They are just huge rabbits really!

    1. Yes come to think of it they do look (and bounce) a bit like giant rabbits! Glad the photos brought a smile to your face – I thought they were too cute not to share 🙂

Now they look like locals I’d be happy to meet. Have a great week, Rosemay!

    1. Thanks Jo! The kangaroos were very friendly and looked like they owned the place! It was such a treat to get all those photos 🙂

Always lovely to see kangaroos just doing their thing, not bothered by us humans.

    1. Yes they seemed so chilled out Ruth! Sorry I’ve only just seen this – been a bit absent on here of late trying to organise a few things before the Christmas rush! Tasmania is certainly very popular at present with WA folk – 2 sets of friends have toured round there recently. We also had some Tassie friends visit Perth – hadn’t seen them for 20 years!

Hi. It’s been good to have WA visitors here and how nice for you to meet up with friends after so long. Fingers crossed for the next few weeks and months with this virus.
