We are in the midst of a scorching heatwave here in Perth, probably the hottest Christmas we’ve had here for some years. We are so lucky though, in that we continue to live relatively normally here in Western Australia unlike so many parts of the world.
Wishing everyone a “Merry Christmas” and hoping for brighter times ahead in 2021!

Thanks Jo π We’ve had this table for quite a few years now – it’s a really solid granite one, which is good as long as you don’t need to move it! Always love decorating the Christmas table each year π Once the food comes out though we have to move the decorations! Have a lovely Christmas and let’s hope for positive times ahead in 2021! π π

Thanks Margaret – we do realise we are very fortunate here in Perth. Our isolation does seem to have helped us – borders remain closed for some time. I hope you were able to enjoy the festive season with the current limitations. My dad says they have had plenty of snow in Harrogate this week so am guessing it’s the same for you!

We’re fifteen miles north, and no, not much at all!

It must have been very local then – Dad was unable to go out for a couple of days as it so icy underfoot too. He ran out of bread and milk but fortunately his kind neighbour was able to give him some.

And yet we’re further north!

It makes no sense! The snow was pretty but very dangerous underfoot according to my dad – glad he stayed in most of the time anyway!
